Pump Up The Volume

At a recent Philly show, New York indie-pop upstarts Cults pulled out a perfectly respectable cover of Leonard Cohen’s great 1989 synthetic-bleakness anthem “Everybody Knows,” which readers of a certain age will remember fondly as Christian Slater’s theme music from the ridiculously great 1990 movie Pump Up The Volume. (Seriously, Netflix that shit.) Watch Cults try their hand at the song below.
