I really like this song, and I live within a half hour of Austin, so I went ahead and looked to see if they will be playing SXSW. It turns out that they are, but in their bio I found this disturbing nugget: “…they have…taken the stage with acts like One Republic, Lifehouse, the Counting Crows, Uncle Kracker, and Family Force 5.” Yes, yes, I know I should just let my impression of the band be based upon the music, but there isn’t a lot available at this time, and I can’t help but wonder why a good band would want people to know that they had even been in the vicinity of Lifehouse and Uncle Kracker.

That band listed on the sxsw website is some other shitty band with the same name. I hope sxsw got it wrong?? Would love to hear this at sxsw.
