Album trailers aren’t the sort of thing we usually post on this here site. But the 37-second video you’ll find below, a teaser for Die Antwoord’s forthcoming sophomore effort TEN$ION, has enough going on to warrant a look. Die Antwoord’s major selling point, after all, is the South African rave-rap group’s sense of bent aesthetics. And here we have Yo-Landi Vi$$er, in full demon makeup, reaching into the chest of a similarly made-up Ninja, pulling out his heart, and eating it on some Book Of Revelations/Temple Of Doom shit. Worth a click, at the very least.

TEN$ION is out 2/7 on the group’s own Zef Recordz, and the “Fok Julle Naaiers” video is pretty good, too.

Wow. Unlike what we’re used to by Die Antwoord, this clips looks very professionally made. So in that regard, it is different.
