This is a big morning for music videos from veteran funk-metal Lollapalooza headliner bands who have, at various points, counted both Flea and Dave Navarro as members. We already saw Jane’s Addiction’s “Underground” video, and now here’s a clip for “Look Around,” a song from the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 2011 album I’m With You. In the video, the various Chili Peppers dance like monkeys in their own respective rooms, sometimes with too-skinny Manic Panicked models accompanying them. Robert Hales directs. Watch it below.

I’m With You is out now on Warner Bros.

We do post new videos by legacy artists who were once great or interesting. If it was a band we NEVER cared for at all, it wouldn’t be worth covering. But I like keeping up with ’90s alt bands, even if they’re not longer vital. Plus, Flea has that cool new Disney poster in his room:
And yet no 311.
don’t speak for everyone. i will always like the chili peppers, regardless of their relevancy in the blogosphere.

I guess they forgot how your musical taste is the only relevant one out there. God forbid they ever post something you don’t enjoy. Life must be hard.
Who doesn’t like the Peppers? You must be like Rick Santorum or Hitler’s ghost or something.
Don’t act like you didn’t love ‘Blood Sugar Sex Magik’. That record was the shit, and still kind of is.
That little vocal break-down thing he does around 2:30 reminds me of the “ooh, ahh, guess you never meant it” part in the song, “By the Way”. It’s so identical – they had to’ve done it on purpose.
I was going to say the same exact thing! nice little callback
that singer that can’t sing, has a child on it’s arm… that child doesn’t seem to like that
that child on his arm would be his own son
no way…
i thought it was a girl
Anthony Kiedis is our generations Iggy Pop (physically)
Oh my, no wonder Frusciante jumped ship.
