Garbage were one of the finest singles bands of the ’90s alt-pop boom, and they’ve been generally quiet since releasing 2005′s generally underwhelming Bleed Like Me. And now they’re getting all set to release a new album. Not Your Kind Of People arrives 5/15 on the band’s own unfortunately monikered label STUNVOLUME. And right around that release date, the band will head off on a quick European tour. They made “Stupid Girl” and you didn’t, so show respect. We’ve got their dates below.
5/09 – London, England @ Troxy
5/11 – St. Petersburg, Russia @ Jubilenyi Hall
5/12 – Moscow, Russia @ Crocus City Hall
5/16 – Paris, France @ Olympia Festival
6/16 – Hultsfred, Sweden @ Hultsfred Festival
6/17 – Aarhus, Denmark @ Northside Festival
6/22 – Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany @ Southside Festival
6/23 – Scheessel, Germany @ Hurricane Festival
6/28 – Werchter, Belgium @ Rock Werchter

This has potential. Garbage made some decent albums back in the day. I credit most of their above par performance to Butch Vig, who is both a member of the band and a long time Producer who stood behind classic albums like Nirvana’s Nevermind and The Smashing Pumpkins’ Siamese Dream. I think we need some rock music these days. Maybe this will give us some of that?
They’ve never made a bad album and they’re generally underrated. I’m very excited about this.
Sooo stoked.
Also how is she still SO hot??
You bring up a great question which has baffled me time and time again.
“generally underwhelming Bleed Like Me”
tha fucc is this? if anything, that album didn’t enough love
This. It’s a beautiful album that didn’t get the recognition it deserved.
