For me, placing #10 means alot because it shows that the human element of posting comments is the most important. Logging into Stereogum and learning to use a PC or Mac and learning how to use wit is the most important thing for people to do. It’s not about being perfect. I just should point out that around the same time I received 1, I nearly bought it in a snowy ditch on the way up to my friend’s cottage.
We drifted into slush, carried over two oncoming traffic lanes hitting nothing (going highway speeds mind you) turned almost completely around and somehow, instead of flipping into the ditch and smashing into the rock wall, a snow bank grabbed the wheels – we almost tipped completely over, but instead the car fell right back down, stopping…mind you damage free…right side up in the ditch, safely away from oncoming cars.
Anyways, what I’m trying to say is that this is a sign. I’m not very good at reading signs though, so I’ve just assumed it means I should buy a new pair of kicks. TREAT YOSELF.
