Odd Future’s forthcoming OF Tape Vol. 2 has already given us Frank Ocean’s gorgeous “White,” and now it also yields the return of Earl Sweatshirt. The Odd Future rapper has been gone for the group under semi-mysterious circumstances for nearly two years, but he reappears on the album track “Oldie,” a massive 10-minute posse cut that also features just about everyone else affiliated with the crew. Earl shows up second-to-last and sounds pretty fucking incredible. Listen to it here.
The OF Tape Vol. 2 is out 3/20 on Odd Future Records.

Here’s a link to it. It’ll probably be taken down soon, but whatever.
oops, didn’t realize you put a new link up.
where’s my boy rubjohn at?

The album is okay. Definitely heard better from the boys. Earl’s verse is amazing though.
Woaaahhhh, can you believe it? Ol’ Rubberjohnny didn’t completely overreact on an OFWGKTA post. My mind is blown.
It actually took me a moment to realize that was you posting.
See you can do it! I thumbs upped ya…
Vol. 2 is awesome, even if Earl is only on it for one verse essentially. The production is much tighter and cleaner, and it doesn’t drag on as much as parts of Goblin did. NY (Ned Flander) is a nice short cut from the album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdpKPSjQ37Y
Earl Sweatshirt has the only good verse.
