The Osheaga Music & Arts Festival, which comes to Montreal’s Jean Drapeau Park 8/3-5 has just announced its lineup, and it’s got a couple of big names who haven’t done a whole ton of performing lately: Sigur Rós and the Weeknd. The pretty stacked bill also features the following names: The Black Keys, the Shins, M83, Feist, Justice, Florence & The Machine, MGMT, ASAP Rocky, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Passion Pit, Yeasayer, the Walkmen, Zola Jesus, Austra, Atlas Sound, Dum Dum Girls, Garbage, Metric, Snoop Dogg, Amadou & Miriam, Calexico, and a ton of others. Bloc Party!
Is A$AP Rocky and his mob going to destroy this stage too?
My teenage self kind of geeked out upon seeing Brand New’s name (in a pretty sizeable font above a lot hipper and popular bands, albeit) on that poster.
Franz Ferdinand!
I wanna meet that new album!
Awesome to see Bloc Party back! Weird to see Franz Ferdinand’s name so small.
As a Montrealer:
Such a good lineup! Hope I get to go see The Shins..this vid of them playing at SXSW is so inspiring:) http://vevo.ly/FQigVQ
