Moonface is the solo alias of the endlessly prolific Wolf Parade/Sunset Rubdown/Swan Lake man Spencer Krug. And someone will probably think this is sacrilege, but “Teary Eyes And Bloody Lips,” the icily synth-throbbing first single from Moonface’s new album With Siinai: Heartbreaking Bravery (recorded with Finnish krautrockers Siinai) is easily my favorite thing that Krug has ever done. The song’s video, directed by Marsha Balaeva, shows time-lapse footage of ghostly shapes careening across landscapes. Watch the video and stream With Siinai: Heartbreaking Bravery below.

mannn that is a strong finish.
strong “finnish”
2012 needs more Kraut. so yeah thumbs up!
How good is “Faraway Lightning”? So good. Strong Finnish is right; the whole back half of this album kills.
