One of the best songs off Years Of Refusal gets a super simple video with Moz and band performing in an empty white room. It’s not what we pictured when we first heard the song 100 years ago, but it works. Partially because of silly details (Moz catching the tambourine, his drummer leaping over the kit) but mostly thanks to two cute dogs walking around. Who knew he was such a friend to animals?

Those doggies look familiar.

Years Of Refusal is out 2/16 in UK via Polydor/Decca and 2/17 in the US via Attack/Lost Highway. US tour tickets are on sale now.

He certainly knows how to sell it doesn’t he? I like the VW version better though…

  2. The dogs in the video look more like French bulldogs than pugs, but I digress.

  3. I like Morrissey. But watching this video, i think it’s important to say that if U2′s next music video was Bono walking around and emoting like this, everyone would call for his head (including me).

I guess it begs the question: who’s a creepier older man? Bono or Morrissey?

The battle of the one-names begins.
