Venice Is Sinking’s second album AZAR is out at the end of March. It’s been three years since their debut Sorry About The Flowers, so in this Jason Miller and Ethan Payne-directed video, the Athens, Georgia quintet are taken out of storage and propped in place to perform “Ryan’s Song,” the collection’s dreamy lead track. It feels a bit like Ida affixed to a bubbling Sea & Cake undertow. Vocalists Daniel Lawson and Karolyn Troupe navigate the band through the cardboard, packing tape, and bubble wrap.
Take this one home:

Fine, Gondryesque video for this really rad shoegaze.
fuxing rad
That was really terrific; thanks for posting!
at first glance i thought that was mandy moore and this was a song for ryan. i wanted to scream and roll around in my own embarrassment.
Can I get one of her delivered to MY house?
I was wondering how long it take before someone made a “she’s hot” comment. Not that she’s not hot…she is! I think the video’s pretty darned great, and so is the song.
Cool band, cool song, cool video. And she is hot too :)
Met her a couple of days ago at AthFest. They had a nice gig despite a million-degree temperature.
Their new video is awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5LZORIPcmw
