The Toronto Death From Above 1979-related electro duo pimped up (and dumbed down) It’s Blitz‘s “Zero.” The resulting generic dance-club thump thump thumper ostensibly goes in a much different direction than what we can expect from Animal Collective’s remix of the same track. But it is interesting to hear a song after the soul’s been removed.

Ugh, not that great. I haven’t heard the animal collective remix yet, but i bet that it isn’t very good either. “Zero,” and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in general, should not be remixed in my opinion.
