Longtime and multi-syllabic Austin sextet Trail Of Dead went about reminding you of their presences via Festival Thyme, the EP where you first got a taste (via alternate takes) of “Inland Sea” and “Bells Of Creation” from the band’s sixth album The Century Of Self. Now, just as L.A. quintet Isis prepare to unveil their own collection of swirly post-something epics, the Texans bring us the swirly “Isis Unveiled” in colorfully ominous and multi-patterned video form: Get acquainted with demons from hell, an army of Dead, and Conrad Keely’s face.
The Century of Self is out via the band’s Richter Scale. They’re out on the road around then, too:

haha – this video is pretty awful. the record itself is phenomenal, however.
Trail of Dead rocks! Check out the live acoustic versions of Bells of Creation and Insatiable they did at our studio for theStreetDate.com:

I still can’t get into their new record.. Which probably means I’ll end up loving it.
Ya…pretty shit video. Song rocks though..saw them live a month ago and this song was tits.
turns out this record is pretty great
and about fucking time you guys gave them some press on the album – last post was november.
I can’t get past this band’s pretentiousness. This video doesn’t help.
He looks like Vigo from Ghostbusters 2.

I like. Both video and song.
Awesomeness.
This video is really cool. How the hell did they manage to do it all in stop motion?
