
BTW Throw Me The Statue offer up a second track from their forthcoming second proper full-length, the self and Phil Ek-produced Creaturesque. We found “Ancestors” to be reminiscent of old-time indie (Butterglory to be precise), and the propulsive and melodic guitar rock of “Hi-Fi Goon” throws back like some lost, surging Built To Spill jam circa Keep It Like A Secret, sans inimitable solo slinging.
