On the breezy lead track from Lali Puna’s first album in five years, vocalist/keyboardist Valerie Trebeljahr asks, repeatedly “Will you remember me?” Not a bad thing to get out of the way. The Munich electro group’s fourth album Our Inventions is out in April on Berlin’s Morr Music. It follows 2004′s Faking The Books. As a who’s who refresher, Trebeljahr’s backed by drummer Christoph Brandner (also of Tied & Tickled Trio), keyboardist Christian Heiß, and Tied & Tickled Trio/the Notwist’s Markus Acher. Elsewhere Yellow Magic Orchestra’s Yukihiro Takahashi makes a vocal appearance, but on this one it’s Trebeljahr asking the questions.
