I'm sure I am speaking for a countless number of people when I say, "they were still together?"

Steve - They were still together... and they were awesome. Never got enough credit in the US.

It annoys me when they are incorrectly classified as a "one-hit wonder" on those American VH1 and MTV shows ("The Sun Always Shines On TV" was a top-20 in America and outsold "Take On Me" in England). They had an impressive career in Europe and South America, where they played what is probably still the largest concert ever -- almost 200,000 in Brazil in the early 90s. They also put on a hell of a show, as I hazily recall from my sordid European youth.

I'm glad this comments section isn't just full of people talking about "Take on Me". I had the privelege to live in eastern Europe for a few years not too long ago, and I was really surprised at how big they were over there. It's funny how something so huge in Europe can still be completely invisible in the US.

I will also take this as a chance to repeat yet again that "Manhattan Skyline" is one of the awesomest songs of all time. Of All Time! And the music video for it is, in my opinion, even better than the iconic video for "Take On Me".
