Rufus Releases Clips Of Stars, Tour Dates

Following the slip of first single "Going To A Town," Rufus Wainwright has made available for streaming bits of two more tracks from his forthcoming album: the horn-y "Rules & Regulations," as well as the May-released record's title track, "Release The Stars." Both are great -- for about 90 seconds, when you get the fade-out treatment. Still well worth the listen, done by launching Rufofalo's ecard while you admire his lederhosen.

Rufus has plans to Release The Stars all over these States and those of the European Union. Check the dates (and the album cover) after the jump.

I guess he's a bigger fan of the sound of music than I thought. I guess the laterhosen is better than dressing up like Julie Andrews.
