Stream Hercules & Love Affair (& Album Art)

Good chance this is already topping your list for best dance album of 2008, but in case you haven't heard it yet -- head here and stream the whole thing (you have to register but it's worth it). As we saw with "Blind," Antony lends his voice and name to lots of Hercules & Love Affair's tracks, but the star of course is Andy Butler's production, each track better, more mood-altering than the next. Go listen, and then go read Nick Sylvester's great post on why "this album is tremendous" and his hopes that you fall in love, whatever your motives. We're doing our part, Nick.

Hercules & Love Affair is out in the UK 3/10 via DFA/EMI. Also, here's the album art for you to plaster everywhere.

I actually love the colors in the art.

Very soothing to the eye.

Good chance it's not. Could I hate the sound of Antony's voice more than I already do? Why, it looks that way.

I really really really hate Antony's voice more than anything. He should quit and stop hurting innocent children with his sound pollution before someone is actually brainwashed to think thats what music is supposed to sound like.

I would rather hear my tone deaf uncle Frank singing "Cool Jerk" naked in the shower than ever have to endure the ear poison that has taken place and stained my holy iTunes grail with this homoerotic bullshit!

You guys are getting really lazy...

You're always starting posts mind-sentence and not really saying what it is you're talking about. It took me a while to figure out what this album is all about...I mean, you said "Antony" once in the post so that was like a clue...

This is the most confusing post ever.

Antony's voice takes some getting used to. or rather, a lot of getting used to.
I didn't like him on Bjork's Volta and I probably won't listen to this, but if this keeps him from working with her from now on, I'm all for it.

I always hear Antony's voice as Nina Simone with Downs Syndrome. I think I like that.

The polar opposite of dance music with Antony singing on it is dance music with some tone deaf dude chanting about hometown beer which I think I like also: http://seriousbusinessrecords.com/releases/show/29--Right-Makes-Might-Long-Shot-
