Art Brut's It's A Bit Complicated Cover

Gotta hand it to Art Brut for their forthcoming record's literalist artwork. 'Cause using a protractor IS a bit complicated.

You can hear a trio of songs from the new record -- "Direct Hit," "Nag Nag Nag Nag," and "Late Sunday Evening" -- at MySpace. (Though our fave is "Post Soothing Out.") Eddie will come to terms with the loss of Emily Kane all over again at a sold-out show at Bowery tonight. The rest of the Brut's dates after the jump.

Their first album cover was kinda crappy, too. It's not like you won't all be downloading it, anyway. 8-)

I like the cover but i'm also an engineer, so that might have something to do with it.

nothing screams designer's nervous breakdown like a cover featuring design tools. why not just an Illustrator "File > New" dialog box?
