New CFCF - "The Explorers (Remix Feat. Sally Shapiro)"
"The Explorers," a track by CFCF, aka Montreal HEALTH pal Michael Silver, showed up earlier this year on his Panesian Nights EP. For the four-song The Explorers EP, you get the proper version as well as a remix by Torontonians Woodhands, the unreleased "Just Hold Hands," and this take on the title track with regular remix buddy and labelmate Sally Shapiro. The results? The Swedish Italo disco queen breathes a chilly second life into the original.
"The Explorers" EP is out today (10/6) via Paper Bag. You'll find some streaming snippets here. It's a warm-up for CFCF's forthcoming debut full-length Continent out 11/10, also on PB.
