Year Zero Gets Remixed (And Possibly A Small Screen Adaptation)
Details are sketchy surrounding the next steps in Trent's Year Zero project (yes, there are next steps), but until USB drives start popping up in random waterclosets/concert venues, we'll have to rely on the ever zealous NIN webspaces for our rumor mongering. What we can say, though, is Reznor's taking his virally marketed Year Zero out for a remix, possibly calling it Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D (if the album art is to be believed). This comes via NIN's official tour blog. The remix LP's cover is typically cheery (smoke filled skies enveloping a barren, urban wasteleand). Meanwhile, there's been lots of speculation from Day 1 about Year Zero's potential adaptation for film, Trent once having said "Essentially, I wrote the soundtrack to a movie that doesn't exist." Later, Kerrang! reported Reznor was in talks for a two part movie based on his dystopian opus, though the NIN Hotline updated the unsubstantiated speak by offering that Trent was "more interested in it being a TV project than film right now." What we can say for certain: Shit will be mad depressing. And possibly rife with thermal secrets. Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D art work after the jump.

Saying LP is "ass puppet music" is unfair to ass puppets. And music, too.
