If you go to the Sex Pistols website there are quotes about the Pistols from various celebs and there is a quote by Avril taken from Seventeen Magazine saying that she is the Sid Vicious for the this generation (aka the tween set) and that she created punk for this day and age.
Then the next quote is her saying about how she shouldn't have to know who the Sex Pistols are cause she is really young and that stuff is so old!
