The second season of Ashlee Simpson's reality series premieres this Wednesday and no one's more excited than YOU (and maybe daddy Joe). MTV.com's got a sneak preview of the premiere. Watch Ashlee's voice get raspy and stomach get acidic in the hours leading up to her infamous SNL hoedown.

Its just not as funny as it used to be. They need more comic hosts instead of little teen queens. They also need better musical performers. Maybe Tina Fey needs to step down as head writer, cause I think she is obsessed with Lohan, and thats just not that funny.

I happened to catch SNL this last weekend and couldn't stop laughing at the music store skit w/Poehler.
Somebody could have been blowing smoke up my ass but I was told that Poehler is David Sedaris's sister. Personally, I don't see any resemblance.

RE: Amy I loved her in Wet Hot American Summer I thought she was hysterical as the snobby talent show coordinator . That was a very funny movie. I have to say her Madonna impression is pretty dead on. I don't liker her on Weekend Update though

Of course cause I'm a total dork and I'm a glutton for punishment I picked up the Glamour Magazine and read a little bit of the Asshlee interview and one of the questions that was asked was how are you and Jessica alike. And Asshlee's response was that people think that she is a total tomboy cause she sings "rock music" but really she is just like Jessica in that they both like girly things like spa days and manicures and pedicures.

This is fucked up because over the weekend I was watching an old Ashleeee show that was on the MTV marathon and she was trying on dresses and heels, etc. while Jessica and Mom watched saying they liked whatever she was wearing and she was like, "But it's so girly. I'm not girly. I hate girly things. I like pants." etc. etc.

I have to agree with those people who say SNL has gone downhill. Amy poehler may be the funniest one on the show, but that's not giving her much credit. She did make me laugh in "Mean Girls" though when she asked the girls if they wanted alcohol and did that crazy thing with her eye.

Yeah Amy Pholer was pretty funny as the mom in Mean Girls. It was pretty funny when she walked in on her daughter and her boyfriend and she was offering them condoms.
