Aziz Ansari Punched A Wall

You guys have heard of comedian Aziz Ansari, right? Not only is he M.I.A.'s #1 stalker (.mov), he is totally going to give away passes to his blogger-approved one-man show and make you a mixtape. Read on...

"AZIZ ANSARI PUNCHED A WALL" CONTEST

Aziz Ansari (recently named Best Male Standup Comedian at some awards show) presents his one person show "Aziz Ansari Punched A Wall" at the UCB Theatre on Saturdays in July.

Did you like Aziz's M.I.A. sketch with with Eugene Mirman? M.I.A liked it. So did Diplo. Cred points galore! You must also watch the new short film Shutterbugs (.mov) Aziz made with Rob Huebel (AKA Inconsiderate Cell Phone Man).

Here's the details on the show:

Aziz Ansari Punched A Wall
Saturdays @ 7:30 (no show July 23rd)
$8 for double bill w/ Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz (Winner, Best Sketch - ECNY 2005)
Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre
307 W. 26th St. (between 8th and 9th)
Make reservations here

Here is the contest:
When Aziz broke his hand by punching a wall, he was forced to wear a large grey device after surgery.

Come up with a name for this odd contraption. Aziz and Stereogum will pick our three favorites...

1st PRIZE 2 comps to Aziz's show, a mixtape from Aziz
2nd PRIZE Shutterbugs DVD signed by Aziz and Rob Huebel
3rd PRIZE Aziz mixtape

In addition, Aziz said the first 10 people who mention the Stereogum contest to him after the show can get a copy of the mixtape. We'll e-mail winners on Saturday. First Prize Winner has a choice of seeing the show 7/16 or 7/30.

E-mail your entries to contests @ stereogum.com.

i told you aziz, keep punching walls and we'll take away your masturbation priveleges. think about that next time you wrench your neck trying to fellate yourself, it didn't have to be like this.

the contraption. um. is it some kind of transformers arm. what the hell. um. like, it looks like it is made of foam. but really, that's all I see. is it a fedex overnight arm transport. or maybe a lazyboy for the arm, um, a lazy arm? serious. I have no clue. um, is it, and I am going to use technical medical lingo here, is it a cast? I dunno. it looks like a white box. can i get a better picture of it?

Warning, that injury is not from wall punching and/or masturbation, that is defiantly cowbell related, and people thought computer keyboards were hard on there wrists! o my god please be careful and check with your doctor...

Clearly, the contraption should simply be called a "Jackass Box".

i believe that device is called a big stupid piece of foam. jackass box works though, but one of those dog neck cones could only help too.

another thing thats great about the box is its scarlett letter function: everyone asks why you've got the foam thing a playstation comes in stuck on your hand, and then you have to tell them that you punched a wall when bo bice lost.
