Band To Watch: Light Footwork

There's a reason Matt at You Ain't No Picasso started his campaign to get people behind The Light Footwork; they're good. My Old Kentucky Blog and Gorilla Vs. Bear agree. Having spent about a week listening to their record, I have to say, this is a really good band. Comparisons to The Unicorns and Beulah abound, and they sound a little like Air Miami, too, at least the male + female vocals do. Basically, they are really great indie pop.

If you pre-order their record, then shipping is free (within the states, i assume). It's definitely worth the $12. There are 4 MP3s floating around between YANP, MOKB, and GVB. Check them out, for sure.

Love, love, love this band. I wish Jay (lead singer) would get back from Europe so they'd do some touring though!

I dunno
I don't get it
this band sounds very average to me
I don't hear what everyone's raving about

Does any one remember that band "The Crabs" - probably from Portland or Olympia in the late 90's... Similarish...

Both are sweet and can drink like Germans, so no matter what, they have to tour and never forget to stop by in Germany.
