Do you know when this is being released? I give you full credit for turning me on to Arcade Fire. They sold out in Austin last January(?) so we drove to Dallas where tickets were only $10. I told my wife "You must see this band". She said she was too tired and now regrets it as they get top billing on her iPod mini. I can't wait to see them again at ACL Fest. Please let me know or post any news about Bell Orchestre.

Sure thing rOCKY.

The band does indeed include Richard and Sarah of Arcade Fire, along with members of Torngat and Ark of Infinity. No "Neighborhood(s)" here -- it's pretty jazz/chamber that has little to do with Funerals. Worth a listen:

Bell Orchestre - "Rajasthan" (Stream)
Bell Orchestre - "Synching" (Stream)
Bell Orchestre - "Flight [Excerpt]" (Stream)
Recommended if you like Rachel's, Steve Reich.

BO are touring with your precious Arcadies this fall. Check 'em out! Recording Tape The Colour Of A Light will likely see a Rough Trade release by year's end.

hah i happen to be in montreal this weekend and checked this out last night. it was really cool, mostly cause we got a taste of the montreal scene, the show was at this weird sweaty art space. i couldnt see the band at all. it was pretty much arcade fire w/out vocals and mellower. it sounded great though.

the band is fabulous! i saw them in montreal last night, and thought they were excellent. it only confirmed my long-standing crush on rich...he's absolutely adorable! oh yeah, the music was amazing, too.

It looks like the CD was released 8/22 in the UK but I'd like to know where to pick up/order here in the states.
