Bands To License At SXSW

A Wall Street Journal article informs us that in addition to Bands To Watch at SXSW, there'll be a few To License. Those so-called "music-industry insiders" are at it again, wandering Austin in search of bands who have "a sound that appeals to producers of television shows, commercials and videogames." Can we suggest 1349? Otherwise, seems more than a couple are interested in BTW Lykke Li. Famed hunter Bon Iver is also listed as a BTL. Among the scouts is Gary Calamar, who needs "mood music" for True Blood, the vampires-in-Louisiana show we previously wrote about. Before you get angry and start the name calling: We're talking about actual vampires, not Ezra and friends.
