Beck "Hell Yes"/"E-Pro" Videos

About that Beck video. Laura reveals it's an Internet-only clip by Mumbleboy. "The song is called 'Ghettochip Malfunction' and is the '8-bit' remix of 'Hell Yes.' It's from a 4 song remix EP that will be available on digital outlets on the 1st of February." That's soon.

Also check out the Shynola-directed video for "E-Pro" (.mov). Thanks Russell for the link!

Am I the only one, who thinks, the "leak" of the Beck album, then a video, and now an ep 2 weeks later on I-Tunes.. Smells like a major label doing what it can to make a buzz on an album. Like Coldplay people, issuing Cease and Desist orders for a leak of their new album, when it was tracks that featured white noise. What they are not sending press releases out is they licensed Clocks to the Al Jazerra network.

It's also worth mentioning that Shynola is currently putting their touches on graphics for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy film.

I for one can't wait to see how they envision a babel fish...

Premature Evaluation: Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul

Pushing Noel off a stage in Toronto might bruise the erstwhile Oasis mouthpiece's ribs (maybe even his spirits) and cause the band to cancel a show or two, but nothing can stop the slow procession toward a new Oasis album....
