Last month we premiered "Penny On The Train Track," a new song from Ben Kweller's self-titled album out 9/19. We ran into Ben at Lolla, and not only is he a Stereogum reader, he wanted to thank YOU for all the nice reviews:

Adrian, as a guy who's met them both- i'd have to agree with you. both are just... too damn nice, though. it's admirable as all getout, but... perhaps i'm just envious.

Really good song by the way...Ben's songwriting is becoming more and more sophisticated. It's nice to see someone who obviously wants to get better as an artist and doesn't just rest on his laurels.
