Bigmouths Strike Again: Stars Are Blind (And Deaf, Too) Edition

Just when you thought Warner Bros. recording artist Paris Hilton may have been embarrassed into submission, a musician with some cred went and made an unlikely confession. The person in question told Star:

I bought her single "Stars Are Blind."

I thought it was a great song and should have done better even than it did.

I'd do a song with her. It would be an interesting experience.

Who's our mystery duet suitor? Guess, then jump. (HINT: We saw him at Arcade Fire's legendary 2/17 show.)

(via The Sun)

"Legendary." Get it?

I bought Stars Are Blind, Turn It Up, Nothing in this World and 2 version of her debut album, Paris?

How come? Because I didn't judge the person who produced it, but the music. Yes, Paris' music is a MASTERPIECE.

question: what's the deal with john legend? none of the songs i've seen him perform on just about every single awards show ever were memorable (i.e. good). and yet, he is always referred to as an "amazing songwriter." again, what's the deal? i find him boring. even jamie foxx (the musician) is better.

answer: it's because i never heard of john's song ordinary people. wow, it's amazing how easy it was to answer such a stupid question.

man, i should stop listening to too much arcade fire and shitty bad veins and get around to listening to better music.

Stars Are Blind is a really good song, and I mean that without any hint of irony. Seriously, it could have been written by Blondie. Obviously Paris Hilton is a talentless moron who can't sing, but it's a damn good song.

I'm gonna have to agree with Doug - though I'm not giving any credit to Paris Hilton (as none is deserved), Stars Are Blind really is a nice little pop song.

I'm a huge Legend fan and I agree 100 percent with everything he said about "Stars Are Blind." It truly is a great song.
That said, no way in hell should he ever stoop to doing a song with that diseased, lazy-eyed skank Paris Hilton.

Paris' album was an underappreciated masterpiece. And I wrote the record review that proves it...

John Legend has talent. Don't Deny him that.

john legend puts me to sleep. 'ordinary people' is a snoozefest. string a bunch of 7 and 9 chords together and make all the suburban moms go 'oooooh, a black man who isn't dangerous'.

he sucks.

Uh... what do you mean John Legend has "cred?" He may be more talented than Paris Hilton, but his music still makes me want to put a bullet in my head.

Adam, you may want to research 'humor' before attempting to write amusing faux-reviews.

Well, of course "stars are blind" is a masterpiece. How many people can sing with a dick in their mouth..er or in a box?

if he really wanted a musical collabo, he would've bought the album. buying the single makes it easier to cut his losses if he is unable to make romance explosion

i wish i had kept checking the comments on this so that i could have responded to myself more.

i went and listened to 'ordinary people' and i was right. i had never heard of it but now that i have heard it i realize that i still don't like anything about john legend.

so still, i ask myself, what's the deal?
