Bumbershoot Partial Lineup 2008

Once more, the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival is bringing an eclectic spread of music and arts to the Seattle Center in Washington for your Labor Day relaxation (August 30 - September 1). Today they announce a partial lineup of confirmed acts, including Beck, M. Ward, the Walkmen, Neko Case, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Dan Deacon, Blitzen Trapper, John Vanderslice, Final Fantasy, Arthur & Yu, the stage-scorchers of !!!, and the newly reunited Stone Temple Pilots (assuming Scott Weiland hasn't yet effectuated the group's inevitable self-destruction via heroin injection and/or bitchy blog posts). All the bands we know plus ticket purchase info, below.

The full lineup will be announced "later this summer," but if you're ready to commit right now, three-day passes are presently on sale at bumbershoot.org. The single day ticket sales start July 15th.

Do people even want to see Stone Temple Pilots anymore? They are supposed to be headlining the Virgin festival here in Calgary too. But I could care less. Be interesting to see if Scott even makes it across the border.
