Chinese Democracy Non-Update

MTV News reports:

For months, Guns N' Roses ringmaster Axl Rose has been saying — in radio interviews, at press junkets and even at journalist-thick parties — that Chinese Democracy would surface this year. ... But after many broken promises, it's possible that this time, Rose isn't fibbing.
Why? Because Axl's management issued a press release Friday that stated:

"The only comment at this time is that there are 13 Tuesdays left between now and the end of the year."

And 52 next year! So stay tuned.

Also, we want this.

That would actually be kind of cool if just all the sudden it was in stores without any promotion or fanfare. Just one Tuesday it shows up everywhere without any advance reviews or anything. I don't see it happening, but it would be cool.

Axl is just eccentric. All the greats are. Can you imagine how difficult it must be trying to live up to Appetite for Destruction?

NO, a new Guns n Roses album?? Strip club DJs across the entire landscape of Florida must be trembling with anticipation!

Seriously, who are the nine redneck philistine fucks (who don't work in a strip club) that still care about this? Go back to your trailers, there's nothing to see here.

Didn't he just recently get in a fist fight with Tommy Hilfiger? Anyway, I wouldn't underestimate his musical genius but I'm sure it will stuck suck seeing how it took so many years to realease it'll be even more culturally irrelevant than it would have been when he first made it.
