Earlier this week, Nike apologized for ripping off Minor Threat artwork in its new promo campaign. There's a hilarious collection at ILX of user-submitted album covers Photoshopped to include corporate sponsorships. Some of Stereogum's faves...

And speaking of CYHSY, go to Philebrity for an MP3 of Alec Ounsworth covering Liver 8'er Neil Young's "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere." Philebrity promises it "will decimate your soul in a cold avalanche of glacial longing."

HOLY FACKING SHIT THAT WAS THE MOST AMAZING 15 MINUTES OF MY LIFE!!! I loved dozens of them, but the one I nearly cried at was the Wal-Mart/Neutral Milk Hotel one.
