Clap Your Hands Go To Hollywood, Starring John Malkovich & Tom Hanks

LES lovers, your Clap Your Hands Say Yeah sightings will hit a little lull this weekend 'cause CYHSY are going to LA and are totally gonna be movie stars! See gang, along with rampant backlash, blog buzz buys you the passkey to Hollywood lots. Actually we don't know exactly how prominent their roles will be (probably about as much as Rufus got in The Aviator -- that is, performing on stage), but they ARE playing themselves (i.e. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah) in the forthcoming major motion picture The Great Buck Howard, for which they wrote new songs. And, they get to meet Emily Blunt. Nice work, laddies.

Along with Ms. Blunt, the Clap will be sharing craft services with John Malkovich, Tom Hanks and son Colin. Proper photos from the set to come, but for now here's our pictorial interpretation.

Pretentious people still pretend to enjoy this horrible, unlistenable band that was never intended to be enjoyed in the first place. Amazing.

isn't it pretentious to condemn music because you personally don't like it?
Terrific.

Mm, I believe so.
People have different tastes. Tolerance is key for diversity.
Fantastic.

I saw a rough cut of Buck Howard. It is the worst movie I have seen in years. The score was one of the worst parts, but it cannot be saved. They're re-shooting a third of it.

Pray for CYHSY
