Coachella Presale Password: "Roxanne"

Could it be? The Coachella presale is on ($199 for 3 Day Pass), and even though few bands have been confirmed (!!!, Cornelius, Fountains Of Wayne, The Avett Brothers, among a few others), with that password, Goldenvoice is saying a lot. They're saying, "Watch how we get all these kids to think headlining reunion show." So we'll play it cool and not mention the band by name.

Okay fine, for good luck, we'll put it out there: That Rage Against The Machine reunion is gonna be dope! By the way, you have until 8PM Pacific today to get in on that presale. Do it for Zack and Tom.

I still think its a red herring because Goldenvoice is mad that Bonnaroo got The Police reunion

also, Bjork IS CONFIRMED to play Bonnaroo this year. FYI

"the coachella site says tickets are not on sale yet"

hence calling it a PRE-sale...

LA times just announced it. the lineup is Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Bjork..then Arcade Fire, Interpol, Willie Nelson, the Roots, Manu Chao, the Decemberists, Arctic Monkeys, Sonic Youth, Crowded House, Air, Tiësto, Kings of Leon....

Yeah, about $250 each (plus Ticketbastard charges) for the regular on-sale.

don't believe any lineup rumours til you hear from the source. every year someone announces a fake lineup, and every year people lap it up (or maybe this is just my denial that RHCP and RATM will be there. please, please no Goldenvoice. don't do it). but to be honest, i don't buy that LA Times "announced lineup" for a second. that's not a Coachella lineup, that's a Grammy's performance lineup.

Headliners are HORRIBLE (except for Bjork). The rest of the lineup is fairly strong in my opinoin. But the good thing is that one of two things will happen for me. The Grammy headliners will
1. cause empty stages elsewhere, or
2. allow me to beat the traffic out

Both are good things so I'm happy about it.
