Cold War Kids Cover Joni Mitchell

No stranger to covers, Cold War Kids singer Nathan impresses with his take on Joni's "All I Want." Who needs a dulcimer?! Not him. The Kid nails the vocal and works out an interesting guitar part, considering Joni's crazy dulcimer tunings. Listen to it Spinner.

And in the podcast (MP3 here, though it doesn't have the Joni cover), the interviewer asks him about celebrities who have requested to be on the list for their shows. Moby AND Mischa Barton. Party.

They never include the cover in the podcast. Ted Leo covered the Impressions and it wasnt in the podcast either

this just occurred to me. cold war kids credit matt wignal for recording some of their stuff. matt wignal's band released an album a few years back called russian lullabies. could there be a pinko conspiracy in orange county, ca? that'd certainly make orange county, ca a more interesting place to be, i imagine.
