Coldplay's Chris Martin To Appear On The Simpsons • Superhero Chris Martin lends his voice to a Season 21 episode involving Homer winning the lottery and hiring Coldplay to give a private performance to he and Bart. "When Bart goes to the bathroom, Coldplay has to stop."

"[H]e and Bart"? What is this? Please use the objective case for the object of a prepositional phrase. The nominative case does not approve of being abused in such a fashion.

The Simpsons have an uncanny knack for featuring musical artists a few years past any prime they may have had in a desperate effort to appear with-it and hip to the kids (Sonic Youth and the White Stripes exempted). Either that or yet another tired subplot involving Bart getting into rapping or something. What happened to smart, clever, original story ideas and brilliant writing? I guess the unending stream of boring guest stars will continue as the show limps along.
