Sufjan Stevens @ Wiltern, LA 10/9/06

Nice shirt.

(Pic by Nick.)

Celebs spotted at last night's show include Alyssa Milano, Danny DeVito, Kirsten Dunst, Toni Collette, and The Kid Who Played George Michael On Arrested Development. Which means we so have an ice breaker for Coachella '07.

On another Sufjan note, does anyone know when his Austin City Limits appearance will be airing?

Who cares about photos of Sufjan. More photos of George Michael Bluth! This is such a fun, sexy time for him.

Hey Lawyerlike,
I have a photo with George Michael Bluth on the site as well! I felt like a jerk asking for the photo but it was totally worth it.

I'm very much looking forward to this show in Portland. Unfortunately, we won't be treated to George Michael Bluth around these parts.

cheers, Baby

Damn, SUfjan Stevens is over rated shit. I listened to illinoise after all the hype from blogs and was mystified. I wouldn't even categorize this shit as music. I swear, even Garth Brooks sounds better than Sufjan.

OMG! I've seen "George Michael" at quite a few shows in the last year. Not to mention his sister. Well, TV sister. (Maybe) !LOL!

to be fair, i probably wouldnt be a sufjan fan if the first record i heard was illinois. Michigan and Seven Swans are much better.

does Stereogum and Sufjan have some weird relationship? Great, ok you like to post about Sufjan on your website and he wears your t-shirt. What's the dealio?

Dammit, is it wrong that I'm angry that I missed this show more because I missed George Michael than Sufjan?

With all these celebrities, I'm actually not surprised anymore that this venue sold out within 24 hours.

The LA show was so amazing. I still have the new son, "Majesty Songbird" stuck in my head. It's been playing the whole day.

Yeah, I listened to Illnoise and I could not understand why it was so hyped. People in the blogosphere seem to be way WAY too into him. I'll try Michigan and Seven Swans a listen though.

I gave him a t-shirt once 'cause I'm a fan -- I never ever expected him to wear it ... Much less on stage! We gotta get one to George Michael.

He does have that Jerky Boys tape. It's not really music, though, it's more like spoken word.

Has everyone seen George Michael's band, The Long Goodbye?

http://www.longgoodbyeband.com/

That will lead you to their myspace page. "Can I call You Mine" is a fairly awesome song.
