Stereogum Presents: Under Byen Live In NYC

A few months ago we told you about a band to watch called Under Byen. Their endlessly inventive orchestration fused with Henriette Sennenvaldt's breathy inflections gave us chills. In fact, we wanted these Danes to come to NYC so bad, we offered to play host.

Early show, Wednesday 10/4 at Merc! It's the band's first US gig in years, and the only way to get it is to guest on the first-come-first-served list via Paper Bag Records ... or by entering this sweepstakes:

Stereogum's giving away ten pairs of guestlist spots that guarantee admission. If that's something you're interested in -- and you're willing to Tivo the season premiere of Lost -- shout out in the comments that you wanna be listed. We'll pick ten winners randomly on Tuesday, 9/26 at 6 PM EST.

Our Canadian readers really lucked out, as UB then heads north to play with Joanna Newsom and a reunited Giant Sand:
