Diamond Nights Are Coming

Glad that DN's been added to Siren Fest. July 16th. Bring sunscreen. Steer clear of sharks.

This cut's been rocking the iPod for a few months now. Think Darkness minus the catsuit.

Their whole EP is great - band actually deserves the hype.

i saw diamond nights live and they are similar to the darkness, but they are definitely not genuine, the lead guitarist is the main attraction and the drummer looks like he got kicked out of spinal tap, they're cool in that-
"I'm going to see Diamond Nights."
"Who?"
"The Diamond Nights. You don't know who the Diamond Nights are?"
"Oh, yeah I do, I thought you said Hawthorne Heights"
-way.

It sounds like The New Pornographers if they collaborated with (early) Cheap Trick. I think I like it.

/"Surrender" kicks ass

I posted this on my blog a while back and most of the responses I received were negative, strangely enough. I admit I didn't dig it on first listen, but it grows on you pretty quickly. I've yet to hear the rest of the EP...

The Drummer, Tim Traynor, is the best part of Diamond Nights (by the way, there's no "the" in the name of the band)
They rock. They are truely one of the few talented hard working group of musicians selling music these days. They are gonna be the hottest thing to hit the airwaves in 2005!

Tim is an amazing drummer. Also, he cut his hair is now amazingly hot. Also, I've heard some of the tunes off their upcoming album and it is truly awesome. Very excited for the album.
