Doves LP4 News It's been a long time coming, but Doves are offering plenty of new details for their followup to 2005's Some Cities. There still isn't a title, though we do know LP4's due in April, that the band has left Capitol and returned to Astralwerks (for the North American release), that they recorded it in their Cheshire home studio, and that the "wistful ... quite emotional" first single is "Kingdom Of Rust." Frontman Jimi Goodwin shares more at Billboard.

I was just listening to Some Cities yesterday and going, "What the fuck!? This came out about 4 years ago! Did they break up? Did they die? Were they arrested for being so great?
This is good news.
