Federline Day

Here's the quote of the day, from today's NY Post:

"My record ... out today, was just to get people to understand a little bit more who I am. There's no real, like, message.
That's the sorta stuff blockquotes were invented for. And awesome news: Playing With Fire is in stores TODAY! So if you still haven't gotten a present for the birthday boy....

Anybody know if K-Fed's NYC shows are gonna get cancelled? His November 9th appearance at Cleveland's House of Blues has been called off and now we're nervous. Yes, we have tickets and just trying to plan our Saturday night, dawg! Maybe Brit could make an appearance. People would go to see that, right? Right?

Oh, and the AP just reviewed Playing With Fire and slammed it by saying:

All jokes aside about his climb to fame, Kevin Federline's album "Playing With Fire" is a credible, entertaining debut. I kid you not.
Okay. What the fuck is going on around here.

Even though you're rich now, Scott, and Stereogum is controlled by The Man, I will remain a loyal reader and s-gum advocate as long as the Feder-coverage continues.

Say it ain't so! First, Blonde Redhead cancelled their 11/3 show at Webster, and now K-Fed might do the same the following night???

Noooo!!!!!!!!!

you may not be able to see him live, but you can search the web and win some prizes:

www.searchwithkevin.com

this is pretty clever marketing, i mean who doesn't want to win a kfed autograph or meet and greet???

If this album succeeds everyone can expect an influx of wiggas. And that my friends, is never a good thing.

That AP review is horrendously written. So can we assume it might be wrong?

anyone else see that yahoo! article about the possibility of human/neanderthal breeding?
could answer a lot of nagging questions about k fed's parentage.

Huh. So is the comment I tried to leave previously just sitting in a queue? Or did it get nixed because I didn't want to give my real e-mail address to Daily Candy?

He's only sold 103 tickets for the November 8th show at the House of Blues Chicago.

Things are not looking good for Federation Records.
