Fiona Apple And Quentin Tarantino Discuss Antennas

Sundance Channel's Iconoclasts captures celebrities "through the eyes of the creative visionaries who respect and admire them the most." It's made for some revolutionary TV: Eddie Vedder and Laird Hamilton talking about surfing, Mario Batali and Michael Stipe going vegetable shopping, etc... But this next episode is the one we've been waiting for: Fiona Apple and Quentin Tarantino! Sundance says Iconoclasts "changes the way you see celebrity," but this is pretty much what we expected:

Also in the episode Quentin plays some mean air piano at Fiona's soundcheck, and the two bond over their fear of "awkward, embarrassing moments." Tune in for all the insanity Thursday, 9 PM EST.

TIP: Watch the clip imagining it's Fred Armisen and Amy Poehler. Much funnier.

Son of a bitch, it's already been pulled. Is the concept of all publicity being good publicity so alien to our big corporate friends?

Ugh. Terrible people.

They were going to have Michel Gondry and Jonathan Safran Foer on this show in the first season. Now that would have been worth watching.

I think Fiona and Tarantino appeared to have a chemistry beyond admiration going on there. I wonder if these two have ever considered going one on one. They are polar opposites, yet they compliment each other nicely. He is very verbal and she is the inner verbal storm and they can truly make beautiful film scores together. Seriously. It was a great combo to watch and the two of them together inspired me to write like I have never written. They are very bright and geniously terrific. I enjoyed their exchange, however, it seems to be something more there that they may and should exchange beyond their profession...who knows..it may work....I am sure Quentin would not mind it one bit...;-)

j: I respect copyright, but have lost respect for most BIG CORPORATE's world.
But think about what you wrote (& don't confuse this with any sort of attack on you; I got your intended point & agree, but..). Tilt the perspective a bit & note the irony. YOU just gave Big Corp a publicity plug. I wouldn't underestimate Big C; they likely expected bad publicity for pulling the video & "any publicity is......". Yup ;)

wise n.heimer: Care to elaborate? Please? Pretty please??

TBC..

I AM SO SORRY! My comp is on a crack binge.

babycandy: sitting in the grass for the bat flyout--that scene is a CONFIRMATION!!
I guarantee you they both were considering it, but by that point they both OFFICIALLY stopped considering & started the frustration of waiting for the cameras to be gone.
BUT
Q's best friend is Fi's ex-boyfriend:Paul T. Anderson. That's how they met. So out of respect, they may have not acted on it.
ALSO-Fi is actually very verbal herself & very longwinded. MOST people don't know that because society has branded her as shy, quiet & EXTREMELY F**KED-UP, troubled, completely deranged & insane. Don't believe the hype--Fi is healthy (mind, body, soul) and she's a serious talker..non-stop when she's within her circle of friends or when she's high.
