Fishfire Barrelphase

"The macro of Boards of Canada's music is so well ordered, so complete, that the stories of the constituent parts are incidental. I never much cared for Easter eggs anyway; with art like this I prefer to let my unconscious do the work of sorting things out."

And the work of writing the review of BoC's Campfire Headphase? Which part of you does that?

This blog (and most of its posts) are super lame. How about coming up with an original post,
where everything is not a reference to a Pitchfork review? This blog is nothing more
than a glorified "links" page. The ubiquitous name-dropping and back-story is totally
unnecessary. It's amazing how a simple post about Patton's G4 turned into a dick
measuring contest courtesy of your and everybody's holy knowledge of the roots of
rap-rock. I'm officially throwing in the towel on this Blog, adios its been fun.

really, I think I'm faulting the editing. There are much better ways to express those ideas, and I'm sure they could be found if someone said, "wait a second"

That was a pretty fey and pretentious review, even by Pitchfork standards.
