Heh I was in a laughable shock when I saw that picture too. Interesting concept, just needs to be uncraplified.

do you think she grew out of the whole "don't envy celebrities, they're not better than you" sinead o'rebellion phase?

I think her music is great...

The songs are really good, and yeah, a ton of hits already. I've heard some other people saying they are bad, but they must not be listening to the same songs. "Not About Love" is like woah. She is a little crazy but you can't stop that. It will get released, there is no way it won't be, or at least in my mind I don't see how not releasing it helps the situation financially.

I very, veeery much doubt that 10 minute Photoshop file is gonna be the cover!

Dear god, Angelfire's still around? That would make my old, abandoned homepage almost ten years old.

That is definitely not the cover.

The songs leaked because a DJ in Seattle has gotten his hands on a copy of the album and has been playing them on-air. http://www.fionaapple.org

Hi everyone,
It's me, the creator of the Fiona site, and I posted the Extraordinary Machine tracks from the radio station. It's a rock station, called KNDD 107.7FM The End who usually plays only alt material, but a DJ named Harms, got a hold of a copy of the Extraordinary Machine (E.M.) disc and played five songs off it.
I emailed him and he said that he is not going to play anymore (even though he has all 11 tracks off of E.M.) since those 5 are the best on the album. Well, I wrote him back and I mentioned that censorship doesnt stop with Sony. (I apologized as that was a shitty thing to say to a gift horse! I admit it! Im human folks! Plus they are our only hope!!) Anyway, so I emailed another DJ who mentioned that they are going to play one more song, tentatively called "Waltz." So, Im keeping my ears glued for that song too.
ABOUT THE FIONABOT COVER: It's a JOKE you guys. It was meant to be funny. I did it quickly, taking the robot from Metropolis and then morphing Fiona's head on it. Are you kidding..that be the real cover. Even I would advise against it. I guess some people just live life way too seriously.

Well, I will keep you all posted!
Thanks for linking the site.
