Fucked Up Playing Free 12-Hour Show In NYC

thumbnail icon: Fucked Up Playing Free 12-Hour Show In NYC

If you live in the New York City-area -- or are able get there in less than 12 hours -- you can catch Fucked Up live Tuesday 10/14. The Torontonians are celebrating the release of The Chemistry Of Common Life by playing 12 hours straight at the Rogan store at the corner of Bowery and Bond. It's all ages. You can procure more info, including details about a "Royal Swan" 7" giveaway and an extensive list of folks who may/may not join the band onstage, at Matablog. Note: while reading the list keep in mind that tour mates, Vivian Girls, who sing backup on The Chemistry will likely be there, the Edge likely won't.

As long as Akon shows up I could care less about The Edge.

Reminds me of the legendary Apocalypse Hoboken vs. Oblivion show at the Fireside Bowl. Two bands, one song from one band, one song from another, until they ran out of songs to play.

You're right. My calendar is useless. Fixed.

Y'know, there really aren't enough bands with the word "fuck" in their name.
