Stereogum:

Make sure you put yourself at front and center when you see them. They put on a great show when they stopped out here in Seattle a couple of weeks ago. I daresay they blew Radio 4 out the water. Also, don't be alarmed that more of the audience would be composed of old-school types in their late 30's/early 40's. It all caught me off-guard at first, but I got used to the concept later on. Have fun!

Just out of curiosity, why would it be the least bit alarming to see people in their 30s and 40s making up most of the audience of a band that hasn't put out an album in ALMOST TWENTY YEARS!?!? I know that every hipster generation likes to think that they're the first ones to invent or discover Everything Cool, but that's no excuse for idiocy (and ageist idiocy at that!).

two steps forward, six steps back, six steps back!

I was into Gang of four in 1979. Where were you then? I was in college.

@ Nate

I didn't mean to connote that this generation is the first, or ageist that, or anything.

I'm just used to going to shows where the audience was more along the lines of peeps my age range (25-30).

A mere observation...I didn't mean anything more than that.
