The 'Gum Drop Volume XXIX: Hear New Man Man, Win A Guitar

A couple weeks ago we gave premature love to Man Man's forthcoming Rabbit Habits. Last week, we caught the Philly band's excellent Rabbit-y SXSW sets. Making it full circle, or something, the guys premiered Rabbit standout "Hurly/Burly" in today's Drop. In the past, we'd spoken to frontman Ryan Kattner, aka Honus Honus, about coffee and dim sum, but head here to listen to the song and read his thoughts on the track. Rabbit Habits is out 4/8 on Anti-.

As with all 'Gum Drops, the MP3s are accompanied by a giveaway. This time you can win an Epiphone PR-150 Acoustic Guitar and a copy of Morcheeba's Dive Deep. Want the deets?

On winner takes home the the Epiphone PR-150 acoustic and the Morcheeba disc. This is the guitar:

To get additional details, head to Guitar Center's listing of it. If you win, maybe you could learn a Morcheeba tune.

The Godfrey brothers released their sixth album in February -- around that time, we posted the Joel Trussell-drawn video for Deep Dive's "Enjoy The Ride." It's the band's second album without Skye Edwards; instead, they get vocal contributions from Judie Tzuke, Thomas Dybdahl, Cool Calm Pete, etc. Other album vocalists Manda (who contacted the band via Myspace) and Bradley Burgess will be joining the band on tour. The guys hit the US the end of this month.

We dug Invasive Exotics, Houston crew Indian Jewelry's 2006 long player, but the feedback feels warmer, the structures more assured, expansive, unhinged and less Doors-y/VU-derived on Free Gold!. In fact, even if you didn't like their older work, you might...
