Harley Davidson Raises Our Hopes For Democracy

There's been so much non-news news about the status of Chinese Democracy's release that we're back to thinking Mr. N' Roses will never deem it done. And then Harley-Davidson had to go and put the Chinese track "Better" in their latest ad. Can't believe Rose's larynx still puts up with that shit. Sounds awesome. Back to being excited, Axl. Quit fucking with us and release the thing already.

Awful, truly awful. If I want GnR, I'll listen to my well-worn copies of Appetite for Destruction and GnR Lies. If I wanted a lame Axl Rose solo album (which I don't), I'd buy Chinese Democracy. I liked Axl better when I didn't hear anything from him for 10 years.

Color me shocked; it sounds great. Not quite 7 years n-million dollars great, but still.

I can only imagine there are like 70 guitar tracks on there - playing the same dropped tuning stock rif. This shit sounds like it was done during nu-metal's heydey. Axl's in there, "nah man it needs to be more like Limp Bizkit." He's still got the pipes though.

Axyl's voice IS the sound of a larynx not putting up with that shit.

Interesting.. that's definitely a new version from the one that was floating around 6 months or so ago. At minimum, there's a new guitar track on top. I'm guessing that's the part they had to re-record with the new guitarist (i.e., the dude who wears a fez hat, who replaced the dude who wore the KFC bucket hat).

This is probably fake. I have seen this commercial on TV about a dozen times and it's with "Paradise City" playing instead. So some fan with too much time on their hands, probably just captured the commercial and layed "Better" over it to give themself a temporary boner. Meh.

This Album has long since gone to the same Never-Neverland (Not Neverland Ranch mind you,*shudders*) as Duke Nukem Forever. By the time this comes out the Chinese will have Democracy.

Talking about obsession (Madonna story) ... why the hell are people wanting to hear this shit? Axel is dead bitches, wake up and smell the roses :).

It's going to happen isn't it?

Everyone who took the piss over the last decade is going to be made to look like a twunt when the 'poor man's Guns 'n' Roses' knock off the best album of the decade.

Then the internet will collapse in on itself when 30,000,000 bloggers try to pull 180's simultaniously.

And you know the worst thing is we're going to have to wait till 2024 for Chinese Democracy 2.

Why do people care about Axl Rose? Why did people ever care about him?

I thought guns n' roses went the way of disco.

Interesting.... The commercials I have seen use Paradise City, as does the commercial on the HD website? What's up with that?

This is a fake. The real Harley commercial features "Paradise City", not "Better".
