I'm From Barcelona Pen Their Ode To Britney Spears

Q: How many Swedes does it take to write a song about Britney Spears?
A: 29! 28 to sing and play, one to constantly refresh TMZ.com.

The geographically confused Swedish indie poppers I'm From Barcelona, whose Let Me Introduce My Friends is a Stereogum fave, just jumped a few notches in our book by giving us an excuse to say hello to our favorite lip-syncing mama of two. Remember when you laughed about Britney Shears getting all cue-balled? I'm From Barcelona say shame on you. Can't decide if this is desperate or funny, but here are the lyrics to their new tune, titled "Britney"...

Why did we care if good old Britney wants to shave her head?
Why did we care well I've been thinkin' you've been thinking too
They don't know a thing about you/I'm gonna get a tattoo
'Cause girl i want to look like you

Why did we care if good old Britney wants a new tattoo?
Why did we care? / 'Cause i need one and you need something too

They don' tknow a thing about you/I'm gonna get a tattoo
'Cause girl i wanna look like you

Everything you got/I gotta get it to you
Can i get just a little of your attitutde

But, I'm From Barcelona, if she hadn't have gone bald, we wouldn't have had Blue Man Brit. And that would be a shame. Have a listen...

Pase and Spank Rock have started an unfortunate trend...

I love I'm From Barcelona, but this is an odd thing for them to do! Does it sound like "Cry Me A River" in the beginning to anybody else?

and the "cry me a river part"- that's brilliant.
irony and Electro choir-PUNK.. awsome.
I bet this band are having a great laugh at the rest of the world and it´s stupid inhabitants.

sorry george but

one must be pure stupid not to get it i´d say..
